Privacy Policy – TapSafe

Pixel Red Studio ("we", "our") operates the mobile application TapSafe. This privacy policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data controller

2. Data collected and purposes

2.1 Data stored only on your device

The following data is stored locally on your phone (app save file) and is not sent to our servers:

Scores and records (Classic, Time Attack, Survival modes)
Preferences (music, sound effects, vibration, language)
Progress (level, XP, coins, purchased items, daily missions, daily rewards)
Display settings (skins, themes)

This data is used for the game to function and for your progression. You can delete it by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data.

2.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)

TapSafe displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or use in particular:

Advertising ID (IDFA/AAID)
Device and app usage data (for serving and measuring ads)

This data is processed by Google under its Google Privacy Policy. We use ads to fund the game; you can manage your ad personalisation preferences (consent, refuse, manage options) via the consent message shown in the app (European regulations / GDPR).

2.3 Analytics (Firebase / Google)

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used, without personally identifying you. Data may include:

Anonymous events (e.g. app open, game over, day 1 / day 7 retention)
Technical information (device type, app version, language)

This data helps us improve the game and user experience. Processing is in line with Firebase / Google policy.

2.4 Leaderboards and Google Play account

If you use online leaderboards (Google Play Games), Google processes data related to your Google account and the scores you submit. This processing is governed by Google's terms and privacy policy.

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area:

Consent: for personalised advertising and, where applicable, for certain analytics, when we show a consent banner or message.
Contract performance / legitimate interest: for data strictly necessary for the game to work (local save, leaderboards, progression).

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with:

Google (AdMob, Firebase, Play Games) for advertising, analytics and leaderboards, in accordance with their policies.
Authorities, when required by law.

5. Data retention

Local data: for as long as the app is installed; you can delete it by clearing app data or uninstalling.
AdMob / Firebase / Google data: according to Google's retention periods and policies (see links above).

6. Your rights (GDPR and others)

Depending on your country, you may in particular:

Access data about you
Request correction or deletion
Object to or restrict certain processing
Withdraw consent (for processing based on consent)
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. in France: CNIL)

7. Children

TapSafe is not intentionally directed at young children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected data relating to a child without appropriate consent, contact us to request its deletion.

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy. The last update date is at the top of this page. Significant changes may be announced in the app or on our website.
