Boulito PC and Android: how to survive waves in the arena

Play Boulito on Windows PC or Android: the PC version is available for €4.99 in our store, with a free five-wave demo. Also find tips for taking advantage of your arsenal and surviving.

In a arena survival roguelite, staying on the move isn't always enough. You have to look at where the pressure is building, keep a way out and choose the fights that you can really manage. Boulito continues this principle in successive waves, with six weapons to discover, hostile machines and an endless mode after the twenty main waves.

Read the arena before it closes

The classic trap is to focus only on the closest enemy. Regularly take a split second to look at the edges of the screen and open spaces. A safe path is often better than a detour to an exposed reward. Avoid going along a wall without an exit plan: if a new wave arrives behind you, your room for maneuver disappears.

When multiple enemies converge, move to the least crowded area and cross the arena diagonally rather than circling in the center. The goal is not to run randomly, but to prevent the crowd from surrounding you. Keep an eye out for items to pick up: in Boulito, Voltins left on the ground are lost at the end of the wave. So assess the risk before collecting them.

Choose your weapons according to the situation

Boulito's six weapons give several ways to approach a game. A weapon that seems powerful on an isolated target is not necessarily the best when the arena is saturated. Observe its pace, its range and the area it covers. After a few waves, ask yourself if your arsenal helps you create space, deal with a tough target, or hit multiple threats.

  • Your space is shrinking: favor choices that allow you to identify a trajectory.
  • A threat blocks your path: focus on her instead of scattering your attacks.
  • The wave is under control: take advantage of the relative calm to recover the accessible Voltins.

There is no such thing as a perfect fit for all parts. Test the weapons and stick to what complements your way of moving. A choice consistent with your situation is often more useful than an improvement taken automatically.

Treat each wave like a small decision

Before picking up an item or changing direction, ask yourself three questions: where is my exit, which enemy can cut me off, and how long do I have before the next push? These quick checks limit impulsive trips.

After a difficult wave, do not immediately rush towards the first visible object. Reposition yourself, identify the next threat, then choose a route that doesn't trap you. Transition moments are used to prepare for the next wave, not just to harvest.

After the twenty waves: aim further

Reaching the end of the twenty main waves marks a milestone, not the end of mastery. Endless mode allows you to push a game further and see how long your strategy holds up when the pressure continues. To progress, change just one habit at a time: your route, your target priority, or your way of picking up Voltins. This way you will know what really improves your run.

Boulito also exists on Android: the release on Google Play is planned for November 2026, and the alpha has been joining since the Android game page. For Windows PC, find the full game and demo in the store.
